Players live in a so-called “miniature garden” and familiarize themselves to it by being there for a long time. Players improve their abilities by mastering the game controls and getting accustomed to the weapons. As a result, doing something right gives Zelda players a sense of pride.
Normally, video games revolve around winning or losing. Zelda games are very different from that. Players say “Wow!” when they find an object. Creating a game like that is our priority.
Before we create the games we don’t decide what it should be, but the final product always ends up maintaining its identity somehow.
